In the spring of 2023, JonDeTech Sensors AB ("JonDeTech" or the "Company") received two design wins and two initial orders from Zhuhai Yaoyang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd ("Yoyon"), a leading Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) in the market for smart locks. These initial orders of the packaged sensor JIRS40 were delivered, and the order value of the second delivery amounted to USD 81,900, corresponding to approximately SEK 850,000. The total order value for both orders amounted to USD 110,100, corresponding to approximately SEK 1,150,000. The parties are in discussions about additional orders for 2024.

The two design wins with associated orders were related to smart locks for two Tier 1 OEMs active in the product area. Yoyon and the OEMs are very optimistic about the collaboration and the outcome of the two initial orders. This outcome has prompted a dialogue between the parties about follow-up orders and a future distribution structure for ongoing recurring orders.

- With the second delivery in place, our Chinese subsidiary has adjusted the routines to deliver JIRS40 in larger volumes. We are pleased that our product JIRS40 has received positive feedback from Yoyon's customers and that we have now started discussions about new orders for smart locks and new product areas. In addition, we are in parallel dialogues with selected strategic partners about distributing JIRS40 to Europe and expanding the product application area of JIRS40. We see good opportunities to distribute larger volumes of JIRS40 to both Asian and European customers after the feedback we have received from Yoyon, says Leif Borg, CEO of JonDeTech. 

JIRS40 is a so-called SIP (system in a package), i.e., a packaged sensor product with finished functionality ready to be implemented. In addition to the sensor's good features regarding price and performance, it works very well with the company's patented software for presence detection (wake-on approach). JonDeTech has entered into a long-term supply agreement to ensure access to JIRS40.
